    Great system, but...

    Installation was very smooth, connections quite secure, but you better be strong to hold the muffler up and connect to the mid-pipes. Fortunately, I had my friend's garage, lift, and assistance. The overall fit and finish are well done. The only complaint is "booming" in the 2100-2500 rpm range, which is 75mph on the interstate, and while running through the gears at part throttle. Hopefully, that will resolve with break-in. Overall sound quality is mellow. No shaking of buildings down town.

    Maagnaflow 15580 exhaust , and all 4 cat conv for a 2005 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab Nissmo

    First let me say that the people at Hottexhaust and at Magnaflow were very helpfull and answered all my question. I bought the 15580 performance exhaust since I was replaceing all four catalytic converters and did not want the cat back system because I did not want to use the original Y pipe. The 15580 system says for a 2010 and above and mine was a 2005 but it bolted up fine and the only problem I had was the tail pipe was a little close to the axle. It had a long flare on it and all I had to do was cut an inch off it and fit perfect. The other thing I noticed was a noise coming from the front left cat but it is inherit to the design of the cat and not bothersome or loud just I noise and after taking to the tech at Magnaflow my curiosity was satisfyed. There was a bit of a drone at 2000 to 2500 Rpm so I installed a 9 inch resonator and the vibration damper off the old exhaust and that seemed to cure a lot but not all of it. The exhaust sounds really good and is not loud or irritating. Thumbs up to Magnaflow and to the people at Hottexhaust. John was the sales person at Hottexhaust and Cody was the tech I talked to Magnaflow
