About Us

Hottexhaust is the internet's foremost authority on Magnaflow Exhaust products. We have been a factory authorized distributor since 1992. Initially, our primary focus was distribution of Car Sound catalytic converters to the automotive industry, namely muffler shops and new car dealerships. The increased policing by state and federal agencies made for widespread acceptance of our high quality low cost catalytic converter replacement units. What began in California in the 1970's was now being replicated the world over and, as a result, we began significant export operations namely to European countries, Mexico , and South America. We currently manage distribution from several facilities, our head office is based in Woodbridge Ontario and we ship from strategically located warehouses in South Orange County California, Toronto Ontario, and 2 new feeder warehouses in Richmond, VA and Newark, DE...

Fast forward to 1995, Car Sound was feeling the need to grow in a related field, the fun and satisfaction of dealing with auto enthusiasts led to the idea to develop a performance muffler line....and....Magnaflow was born! The product line originally consisted of aluminized mufflers with limited complete system availability, a far cry from the stainless/titanium/aluminized mix of universal and cat back/turbo back product available today. Through years of collaboration between distributors, car enthusiasts, installers, engineers, etc.. Magnaflow has morphed into the cutting edge performance company you see today, America's most sought after, quality, Made in the USA peformance exhaust manufacturer...We are proud to have been and continue to be an integral part of the Magnaflow vision. The performance part of our business has grown to dwarf the catalytic converter replacement end , and, by and far is much more rewarding in that we have the opportunity to reach out and interact with a global family of car nuts just like us!.
