The sound is perfect. Quiet idle and cruise. Deep, throaty WOT. Tips look great. I am picky about fit. You have to work hard to position the system so the pipe behind the muffler doesn't touch the cross-member. It's not easy. With effort, it is possible to position the tail pipes so that they are even side to side, up/down and angle to ground; however the passenger side tip sticks out about 1/2 in. more than the driver side. I could not resolve that. I would prefer a full welded system from cat-back instead of clamped.

-very easy to install, the only difficulties were getting the stock exhaust off -nice deep tone to it, no drone issue at highway cruising speeds -not crazy loud but enough to know you're not stock, especially when you get on it

Ordered this exhaust on a Saturday and had it in hand by Wednesday lunchtime. Price was better than anywhere else I could find and product arrived as promised and very well packaged. Install was extremely simple, the exhaust mated up well and required no adjustment or aligning. Took about an hour and I am no mechanic. The product looks great on the car and the sound is just what I wanted, a bit more grunt at open throttle but quiet on the freeway and no drone at all. I wanted to avoid the ricer coffee can sound at all costs and the Magnaflow is perfect, gives you a little more performance background noise without making you sound like an 18 yr old in a Honda Civic. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a quality CBE for a GTI looking for an enhanced appearance and sound.

Ive owned and installed my fair share of exhausts, this is by far the easiest I've ever done. Once the mid pipe was on it just took a bit of alligning to get the tips to sit right. Sounds nice, not overy loud or agressive. Sounds nearly stock cruising on the highway. Shipping was quick, ordered it on a Friday and had it thursday and the price simply can't be beat.

hands down best bang for your buck. nice deep aggressive tone but not annoying loud to want cops to pull you over which is a good thing. really hear its potential at top end.

I just installed this system on our 2013 GTI with the DSG transmission. As with any catback system, it takes some messing with it to get everything aligned properly but when you do it looks great. The sound is mild, but very clean. It is definitely not loud, just sounds awesome. No drone on the highway what so ever. Excellent addition to the GTI!
