    Magnaflow Exhaust System

    Purchased a system from Holley, Hooker Blackheart. I only did because it came with turbo mufflers and I don't care for the Magnaflow's drone in the car (but will replace with Flowmasters, plus I am 65 and don't care for loud anymore). The Hooker blackheart was the biggest pile of crap I have ever bought and seen. Entire set of pipes were covered in black oil and full of metal filings. I laid it out on floor and it was horrible. Not 1 bend from side to side mirrored each other. Looks like it was made on Friday by a stoned drunk guy. Sent back to Summit. Magnaflow system was perfect, everything was mirrored side to side and fit perfect. It says crossmember back but it will go much more forward then that. Tail pipes exit the rear between the frame and inner quarter panel(unlike hooker system exit under gas tank). Excellent system, I would give 100 stars if I could.

    Couldn't be anymore pleased. Everything lined up perfectly and installation went without any issues. Much cheaper than local shop. Plus you get the gratification of doing the install yourself.

    After trying without much success to get two local "specialty" shops to do a custom exhaust in stainless (one never called back and the other was weeks after scheduled appointment) I hit on the Hott Exhaust site. Literally 24 hours later the system was delivered (at no extra charges). John was a great guy to deal with and even threw in a pair of stainless transitions to bolt to the header collectors as well as extra clamps. 4 hours later the system was on using the hardware provided and I was driving. Thanks John. I would recommend these folks to anyone that enjoys turning wrenches. By the way the system came in at one third the price of the one specialty shop so added bonus.

    Wow, didnt know my 396 Chevelle could sound that perfect...Nice and mellow puttering around and OH MAN! when I give er some throttle, bam!
