    1st time cat back install

    Sound and performance are better then expected. Nice deep tone. Seems like better acceleration, hard to tell as I installed a cold air intake also. They seem to get along. Was a bit uptight about the install. I'm old school and only have done a basic unbolt, re-bolt setup. This "cut 3 1/2 after the cat" had me concerned. After that cut I was committed ! Couldn't decide where to measure from so I took 2 measurements ( the cat is sort of stepped) and figured use the longer and re-cut if need be. NO WORRIES ! The end of the "cat" is where the straight pipe ends and starts to flare. The system went in like a breeze. Hardest part was getting the old system out. A smaller sawz-all and new blades are your friend.

    NOT TOO LOUD NOTED HP AND TQ INCREASE

    I just put these on my 2005 ZX5 2.0l pzev. I am the original owner. Waited all this time to replace it. A mount rusted and when I looked at the pipes they were rusty so why wait. Not a lot louder than stock. Burn in? Time will tell as I do not plan to sell the car. Another reason I wanted all stainless steel. I do like the sound as is and if it gets a little deeper, all the better. I noted the bump in performance and that is really what I was looking for. This is what a car sounds like to me. Nice tone driving normal. Go up to 5K shifts and it's enjoyable,pulling better and still not at redline. I did a lot of research before deciding which exhaust to get. I'm satisfied.

    best exhaust, took 20 minutes to install and the sound is amazing at any Rpm I love it so much !

    This cat-back exhaust system was extremely easy to install, it didn't take very much time at all. It sounds great at any rpm, on low rpm's (1.5k, to 2.5k) it is deep and sounds much better than the stock exhaust; and on much higher rpm's it just sounds even better. Would recommend to anyone looking into upgrading their focus' exhaust! It is louder, but it isn't obnoxious, it's nice to the ears!
